Rachel is a typical high-school "popular girl." Got it all, happy, gorgeous, having all the boys head over heels for her. Any mention of girls being together makes her gag, it's not natural to her.  She could NEVER imagine being with a girl, it's just... ew! Who does that? Freaks. 
However, the typical "shy girl" in school, Vera , is always thrown shade at for being the school's lesbian. Though not saying much about this, as she hates looking easy to pick on, she puts on a weak and tired look.

Who knows how these two could meet? They're opposites, so how would that benefit their relationship?
