Welcome to the Academy of Máttur (Power), where Máttur students (people with powers) who are at the top of their class and have proven their high ranks in power learn the history of the Máttur and the Stela and how to control their powers. When the best of the best are determined, nine students will swear their allegiance to the Máttur race and become members of the Council of Níu (Nine) so they can protect the world from power absorbing Stelas. Emira is a powerful telepath enrolled at the Academy of Máttur. Here, she hopes to master every aspect of the power that sometimes slips out of her control. But it's not easy to focus on her telepathy skills when a certain pyrokinesian boy takes up all the space in her mind. Slowly, the two become inseparable, oblivious to the danger awaiting them. On the night of their induction into the Council of Níu, Emira and Dominic are captured by the newest threat: an undefeatable Stela named Julian. Instead of absorbing their powers and killing them, Julian instead erases Emira's memory of Dominic, having powers, and the Máttur and Stela world. Why did Julian spare Emira's life? How is the Council supposed to stop Julian when they are a telepath short? Will Emira ever remember who she really is? with the Enda's creation, the Mátturs victory in the war and safety afterwards was secured.
