I slowly walked away from the lake and over the hill.
I heard my name being shouted out behind me as I left him behind me. I reach the top of the hill and look behind me to see the boy who had captured my heart for six years. I feel a lone tear roll down my cheek as I turn around leaving him and that damn lake for good.
