More Than Business- An Office Fanfiction

It has been a year since the Scranton and Stamford branches merged at the Dunder Mifflin Paper Company. Jim Halpert has had two serious relationships over the course of this year--the first with Karen from the Stamford branch and the second with his long-time crush, Pam. He is ready for a new relationship--except that he has vowed to broaden his horizons by dating someone outside of work and not getting involved in office romances. This is an attempt at balancing work and pleasure. This plan veers off track when Michael hires Mallory Gardner. She is fresh out of business school with parents who are billionaires in New York City that own successful companies. He's head over heels within seconds of meeting Mallory and her collection of headbands. Will Jim be able to woo the new girl and still manage to maintain a divide between business and pleasure?
