18 year old Alistair always felt the need to run away from home or go somewhere to feel wanted. His dad is a drunk, his mother is a waitress and he is continuously bullied at school. In a twist of events in his life, he finds himself being taken hostage into a new family and have to play the role of being a perfect son but little did he know their daughter had a huge secret and what could be in the room under the stair case? Maybe his life wasn't so bad after all. *Each chapter is written in a character's point of view.*
