Jake grows up an orphan. The only thing he knows about his mother was that she was brutally murdered in a grocery store. He knows nothing of his father. Once he is in high school he begins to change. But close behind them are the Alukai, disgusting creatures from another world who consume elves. Jake must learn to fight or he will meet the same fate as his mother.
