Chicago Illinois. A beautiful sight as well as a bustling and busy environment for everyone. Including a woman named Beatrice, who a long time ago in her golden years moved to the Grand city from the European country of Poland to experience the city life. As years pass and both Beatrice and her young children begin to settle into the new town, things just seem to feel as if they were meant to be in this new place they now called home. However, in the present time of 2006, now at sixteen years of age and already beginning her first job, Beatrice's granddaughter Momo notices that weird things are happening in the city as time passes. Very weird things. She begins to see people with red eyes and even fangs. Not only must she keep up her job as an employee for the Chicago Newspaper and attempt to find the next bug story, but she must also save the City from Vampires and demons as well! Although Momo is known to be a spunky and tough young woman, achieving anything she sets her mind to, does she really think she, and the strange friends she will later encounter, really be able to protect her hometown and her beloved grandmother before the Lunar Eclipse rises as well as the Vampiric King?
