Ileana and her best friend Adrian have spent their childhood collecting these strange journal entries from a mysterious man who appears to be as lost as his own identity. As teenagers, they and others find themselves watching a series of events unfold after finding this mysterious man, and little do they all know is that the man isn't the only link to everything that has happened, is happening, and will happen.

From the beginning we see a 17 year old boy, struggling to finish high School, filled up with insecurities, mental health issues, a toxic family home, and impossible standards to live up to. "To be able to see life through different eyes, and write about it." For this, Mr Steve gets his class to assist a hospital 3 times a week, and assigns each student, with a patient. This is the moment where this boy meets Royal, a cancer sick 17 year old girl, that has lived in a hospital her hole life, but still finds beauty and meaning in it. Through out the report the boy gets more and more involved in Royal's life, spending unfortunately moments together. But through out the journey he asks himself more and more.
