Ruth Linden took a leap off a bridge in Ohio some time in July of 2013. She wasn't leaping to her death, she was simply jumping into the lake beneath the bridge. Her and her three friends were on summer vacation together after their friend Christine invited them all, free of charge. Plus Christine had done this before, and she'd never gotten hurt. They were all jumping. But one slip lands Ruth into a coma, and they fear she might not wake up.

The End of Summer
Summer Jacobs knew full well about her town’s tradition. Every year at the end of the summer, a party would be held on school grounds without the knowledge of the parents or the teachers.
