These are a few snippets of my current novel, Beaste: The Four Horsemen. In ancient Norway, Carmen fights to prove herself to her abusive father, but things change when she and all of her fellow villagers are slain by Berserkers. She is reincarnated into Beaste, Goddess of War, and has the new challenge of learning to accept herself as Pestilence, Famine, and Death rip the world apart.

Death's Salvation
Salem held quite the abnormal life. From a car crash at a young age, to meeting death himself. attracting his attention. With Deaths attention, comes hellish consequences. Several horsemen coming for her throat, creatures of the dark biting at her ankles. She finds it worth it, as her and death progress to find his morality before he loses the last ounces of humanity he has left in his immortal body. ☾☾☾ "You have a.. Adroitness about you. Even if you couldn't deflect our abilities, Anima." The word rolled off of his tongue smoothly. Salem wasn't familiar with it, but it was clear he was. "You are peculiar. Abnormal. No matter how you live your life, Salem, whether I had come in it or not.." The man trailed off, the warmth of her skin radiating against his gloved palms and warming them against hers. They should be warm by all means, it was real. The only thing that was cold was him. It was hard to warm something with something cold. "You are an abnormal girl, and you will lead an abnormal existence Anima. Do you understand?"
Will You Still Look at me Again?
Our main character, Romero Porcupine, decided that a change of scenery would be a nice decision for himself, after he had experienced a traumatizing event in his life. So, he decided to go and live in a nice, quiet town. It is said to be amazing. The townsfolk are supposedly nice. The scenery is amazing. There does seem to be a little bit of noise at night, but that is normal. Right? I mean, who would not love to live next to the woods in a town that has a "Wolf Problem," whatever that means, AM I RIGHT??? No but seriously, he is a bit concerned for his well-being, and along with trying to keep his past and his job a secret from the town, he is trying to figure out how to process some new... information... he gets about the world he lives in. But, just maybe, he can find someone in this town to confide in? Someone who seems like he can trust. Enjoy (Side note: I know I don't usually post this type of stuff, as this is supposed to be SMUT. *COMPLETED* My head bowed in a heavy mannor, not in respect, but in trepidation. I discern his unwavering gaze over my ill silhouette. "Look at me." I opened my eyes, though it made no difference.
