Stuck with knowing the emotions of everyone she ever met, Emilia is brought under the wing of one of her professors in her last year of university. She feels alienated by her abilities because she hasn't ever understood them. When Harry, a man who refuses to use his abilities, meets Emilia, their lives change. He brings a different perspective of her uniqueness and she challenges his authority. The two grow a bond, but are soon threatened of Normal's gaining knowledge of the Strange. It's always been a Strange world and the Normal are quickly becoming aware of their inferiority.
