Blue got up, nocking her crown askew. She needed the nobles of the court to understand the need for action. She was not about to let her kingdom fall to ruin. She cleared her voice trying to make it sound as regal as possible and turned to address the nobles, "We need to sent more troops to protect the boundaries of our country, the Draquie are testing us and we need to show them that we are strong." She said. "No," cried a fat noble dresses in purple, "What we need is an alliance, a marrage alliance, from what I here the Draquie are always open to negotiate and they have an prince about your age, it would show that we mean peace." As Blue scanned the room she saw the other nobles nodding and although she wanted to stop it with every fiber of her being, in her heart she knew that the only way to save her country and her people was to agree.

"If you are to be my wife, why shouldn't I look?" She asked with feigned innocence. I glowered. "I thought you didn't want to be a toy?" Her eyes narrowed, a smile pulling at her lips. "Oh Brin, I would not be the toy..." she trailed off, roving over my body. Heat developed at my core and I squeezed my legs together, speed walking away from her. She had to be messing with me. -- My lips were almost touching hers, as though something magnetic continued to pull us closer. I had no words. I was no longer angry with her. I was consumed by her. -- Brin waited for this day to come. The day she would meet her human bride. She imagined a beautiful encounter, love at first sight, a magnetism like no other, but her future bride, the warrior princess, Alvena, had a much different view. Fae and humans were not alike.
