"In 1945, the second World War had left the world scarred. Three weeks after the news of what was done to end war reached the rest of the nations and countries, thousands of nameless souls gathered everywhere the conflict took precedence in, and took a good long look at the havoc it caused. From the Axis bombings of great Britain, the fall of the Berlin Wall, to the bombings of the U.S.'s Pearl Harbor, and the utter destruction of life in Hiroshima and Nagasaki, Japan. And before their journey was over, they went through war torn Poland, where the atrocity of the holocaust laid open to all who were still alive. Every side was guilty of the absolute horror they had done to their fellow man. when the wanderers journey ended, a vow was made on the last night they all united together. "Never again will the terrors of man continue to ruin ourselves, and the homes we built not just for us, but for our neighbor and his neighbor onwards!" This vow that these tired and wounded souls promised each other would become the foundation of the most pivotal next step of humanity. The formation of the Wanderer's Tournament. Out of the control of any government, away from the corrupted masses, and untouched by the political agenda of all, a new world power came to the people of the world in 1955. The Wanderer's Tournament. A Tournament that stands as the judge of mankind as a whole and decides what shall be done next. The rules are simple. Each and every nation in the world will send a total of one to three warriors to compete with each other. The nation who's hero(s) won would be the ones guiding the world for the next five years. Every five years, that cycle would end and the Tournament would be held again. There will be no more wars with one another, any Wandering men and/or women may compete, whether to test their will and strength, or to choose which power they believe is worthy to rule. Any violation to these rules will result in total nuclear annihilation. Welcome Warriors!"

PART ONE: In the heart of the segregated 1900s, a white couple defies society's expectations by adopting two Black boys. Despite their love for each other, tragedy strikes in the form of a devastating car accident-one that alters their reality forever. PART TWO: (Purgatory) Caught in the space between life and death, each family member must navigate a nightmarish landscape filled with terrifying creatures and twisted trials. Their only hope of peace is to reunite and overcome the darkness together. Author's Message The color of our skin should never decide the weight of our worth. Beneath it all, we share the same pulse - one rhythm, one heart, one fragile, beautiful humanity. In a world painted with differences, kindness is the only language that never needs translation. We are all just souls trying to find peace, trying to love, trying to live. I began writing this because the word racism has always struck me like a wound - sharp, heavy, and undeserved. It's a word that carries too much pain for its size. It divides where there should be unity, it hurts where there should be healing. No one should ever feel less than human because of the shade of their skin. My grandmother taught me that love sees beyond color. She never measured people by appearance - only by their hearts. Every child, every adult, she treated with the same warmth, the same respect, the same unwavering truth. From her, I learned that real strength is gentle, and real justice begins with compassion. So I write for her. I write for those who were silenced, for those who have been seen only through the world's narrow lens. I write because love deserves louder voices than hate. And I hope that somewhere within these words, you remember what she taught me - that the heart knows no color, and humanity was never meant to be divided.
