     Aqua Lordaire knew everything about her life was peculiar from the moment her mother disappeared three days after her seventh birthday. From the moment her brother left and moved to the other side of the world. From the moment Aqua is all lone with her father, moving from country to country to find a better life.
    
    Her father told Aqua she's different, that her DNA is different, her life-cycle is different. Aqua always suspected something was anomalous about her, but she never thought the dissimilarity was beyond anything inhumane.
