He was standing in front of me and in half a second I was braced in a wall. His arms trapped me. "I didn't quite get your name." His eyes were now red. I could feel my throat go dry at the way he looked. "Layla!" I acted brave.
"Okay Layla. I'm Hayden and your in my kingdom. Yes I'm a vampire so you should watch the way you talk to me because I could tear you limb from limb if I wanted to." His voice was from dreamy to cold.
I was now crying. I've been through a lot in my life and I just wanted to be free not to be locked in a prison again as someone's slave.
"So why don't you. I have nothing to live for. I was treated bad my whole life so why don't you just do it." My voice was soft as tears stream down my face.
