Something wicked is coming to Ashdown, Vermont. Something dark, deadly, and... platinum blonde?

17 year-old Lila Cabrera is a certifiable hot mess. Last spring, on the night of Junior Prom, Lila survived a fatal car crash - one that left her then-boyfriend, Will, dead, before they could even reach the dance. Because of that night, Lila has lost her friends, her sense of protection, and, worst of all, the love of her life. 

Now, Lila is a senior, still grieving her lost love, and she has no idea what she wants to do with her life. But that's okay, because on the 3 month anniversary of the crash, the Grim Reaper himself shows up at her house, warning her that she is fated to die by her 18th birthday next May. The Reaper then says that his job is to help her live out her bucket list before he collects her soul on that fated day.

But does The Reaper, who's sarcastic, sardonic and skeleton-like, have ulterior motives? Can Lila prevent her fate? And is Will really gone? There's only one way to find out - and it's through Death himself.
