Violetta(Vi) Elmstone is a sniper for the Silver Linings, a squadron of people who don't fit in with any other squadron in the army. They are all misfits to the other squadrons, Violetta included for she is a nekojin, but most refer to them as nekos, or cat-people. The Silver Lining is only sent in when there is no other hope, because for a band of misfits, they are the strongest squadron out there, for the army of  One day, when they are sent in, the other squadrons are about to fall. But they are slowly disappearing. What, or who, is taking them, for their bodies aren't found after they disappear.
