137 these where the numbers Lauren knew. This was her name. 137 was her identity. She had rebelled. She had done everything possible to try to escape, yet every time she failed. Her hope had been disbanded. She was done.
Yet there was still that tiny bit of hope flickering inside of her. That stupid spark that would not go away.  Because hope always leads to pain. Yet in darkness there is light. Hopelessness there is hope. In cruelty there is kindness.
