After the collapse of the Great Empire, the lands of Eiria were divided into 7 Great Villages. In each town, children the age of ten may be eligible to be selected by a dragon. When the humans are at the age of 17, when the dragons are 7, they may be elected to compete on behalf of their village in the Dragon Leagues. But for the past few years, something has been happening to the winners as soon as they've won. Both they and their dragons have vanished without a trace.
What could possibly be happening to them, and can anyone find them before it's too late?
Or will the world fall into war once again?

The winnings were supposedly stolen and Kiora was the main suspect. With some unlikely help, she goes on the run and starts her own investigation into finding the connections between the missing beings and the missing money. The group shortly finds out this runs far beyond their understanding and even drags the old dragon gods in, beings that haven't been seen in hundreds of years. as their reality as well as history itself begins to unravel with the knowledge of a hidden war tearing at truths seams. a second war begins to brew right under their feet as Kiora and her friends are pulled forward into a world they didn't know existed.
