Ping (Disney's 'Mulan' in Shang's POV)

Li Shang is the newly appointed Captain of a new batch of soldier recruits after news of an invasion of the Hun Army at the Great Wall. Both excited and nervous about this chance at impressing his father, he soon realizes that being a Captain is not as easy as his father made it seem, especially after meeting the odd and awkward surprise-son of Fa Zhou. Fa Ping may be one of Shang's biggest pain-in-the-necks, but why can't he keep the kid out of his mind?

This is a story made solely out of respect and love for Disney's 'Mulan' and the original 'The Ballad of Mulan'. I did take some creative measures for the story so that it wouldn't be a play-by-play of the movie. I don't own any of these characters and I don't own any art accompanying the story. Also, this is my first fan fiction/story I've ever shared, so please have some patience with me. Thanks and happy reading!
