The Van Dams of Stellenbosch were highly blessed with wealth, talent and success - all until three were axed to death and the fourth vigorously injured.
They lived a very charming life. Dad Mark was a successful businessman flourishing in both the national and international business world and mom Tess was an ordinary homemaker who loved caring for her brood of three.
Roan, the eldest had an immense bright future in engineering, Hank, the survivor was taking a break from university obtaining a degree in physics and Mari is an intelligent, socialising girl adored by everyone.
But Mark (54), Tess (55) and Roan (22) are now dead. Sixteen-year-old Mari's clinging on for dear life in a Somerset West hospital. Moreover, Hank?
