Rowan Fraser had the perfect life, with her best friends Dean, Dakota and Nate, more her siblings than friends. Somewhat illegal mob family, and her debatable caring family. She was finally happy after years of being the outcast. She was still the outcast but now she had friends to run to. She is a bad girl through and through, smoking, drinking, drugs, shoplifting and organised crimes and she is happy.

But before she's knows it her parents are sending her and her big brother, Brody off to Kingston College, a boarding school, home to the distant relatives of royalty, after Brody spilled all of her secrets to their parents and he was kicked out of their last school for some, less than legal activities.

Their parents insist that her friend group is a bad influence and that this could be the perfect do-over for the both of them when they are granted full scholarships. The one bright side in the darkness was that Dakota, her childhood best friend would be joining her and Brody. She immediately plans to get herself expelled from Kingston so can return home to the one she loves and pretend like it was all a dream. Yet she finds life at Kingston more intricate and complex than she previously imagined.

Her new classmates are all experiencing their own dramas within and out of the school: Natasha Barrett Kingsley, the queen bee with more than a little trust issues. Fenella Harrington, fellow popular girl with a dangerous crush on the new Maths teacher. Rowan's triplet roommates who are hiding an unhealthy secret and Logan Harris, Jock who lives in his own soap opera with his complex family. Rowan gets more than she bargained for with Kingston and is quickly swept into its glamour and drama and she soon finds that she could be in further than she could get out again.
