Mayne

Mayne, sat in her bedroom studying and daydreaming. The party was starting soon, and she was expected to make an appearance. Since she is the bright daughter of two very valuable people to the Elite community much has been expected of her, including proper behavior toward bullies and hosting the bullies' party. Mayne looked down at her desk at all the study material she had access to and wondered why her whole life was already planned out ahead of her. The visions warned her last night of the party, she had repaired the shield that had been sabotaged but she wasn't certain it would hold, the damage was severe, and nobody would listen to her because of the aforementioned bully. She closed her eyes and took a deep breath hoping that the death and destruction she saw wasn't coming... but it was. This is a feel-good story about the importance of mental and emotional health...
