When your life has been a series of tragedies you learn that the world truly owes you nothing. There is no other that knows this fact better then Hannah Eastland, who since she was a teen has accepted that she would be dealt nothing but pain and misery. After receiving these facts with a broken soul, she discovered her purpose in life. After a gruelling science class as a teen she discovered her love for the field and began investigating careers in science. After many changes and option she came to the realization that her true path lies within the mind. So she ventured off and got her PHD, and made a discovery that will change man kind for the better. 

Upon her excitement of the development shes reminded of the all to familiar cruelty of her youth is a never ending cycle as her past starts to haunt her. Now dealing with the struggle of accepting her mental illness she must learn to navigate the dangerous waters of letting someone past her heavily guarded exterior. (DISCONTINUED) I walked all the way to the park. I waited every day for at least thirty minutes. I walked back my confidence withering. Every. Single. Time. I was tired of waiting, I had my hopes up for way too long. One more walk, one more wait. He will be there. And he was. Lost on the path of not only life but her own decisions, Harlow Swan takes a chance to find her long lost friend, or crush, should I say. Meeting up with him again after two years, she realizes that maybe life wasn't so bad after all, and maybe there were some things that weren't as horrible as she thought. Have you ever met someone who alters the course of your life? For good or for bad, they've come in, given and taken, and then- BOOM! Your life was never the same. There's always a change, an altering of reality. When you meet those people, the reality that you've known your whole life is suddenly gone and a new one has taken its place. When those moments happen, there's no going back. You can try to return to the way things were but nothing, and I mean nothing, can take you back to exactly how it was. That's what happened to us. I think that's why we're still trying so desperately to get back to some sort of normalcy. Four years later and we're still on the ground, crawling, in search of the happiness that was lost that June. Summers will never be the same. Midnight walks through my neighborhood will never be the same. Field parties with bonfires and loud music will never be the same. I still don't know why you left and what lead you to the decision you made. What I do know is that we're here. We're alive and we're pushing forward to the future. A future that you're not a part of.
