Samantha Daniels is living on her own. She is 17, with no family or close friends. She is lonely.
One day, while walking back from work, she encounters a curious man in a waistcoat. He is from 1817, a time traveler. Unfortunately for her, he manages to pull her through time, back to his era.
Samantha has to learn to live in this new and different lifestyle, all the while coping with unfamiliar circumstances, unexpected feelings, and unfriendly people. And she thought living in 2017 was hard enough . . .
