The Inevitable

Silence.
This was different. Not the silence where no one is talking, but the one that there is absolutely no noise what so ever. Was I even breathing? I opened my eyes. The first thing I see is a wall of pitch black. No other color. Only one word comes to mind.
“What?”

Chase awakes in a strange place surrounded by a wall of black void. Confused, and dazed, Chase must continue on to find out where he is, and why he is here. He soon comes to find that the answer is inevitable.
