Kira and L are video-game aliases for the two geniuses that have taken the game "Death Note" by storm. Game after game, the constant cat-and-mouse antics of the two keep the world of gamers glued to their computer screens. Unlocking hidden methods, putting up almost paranoid precautions against the other, and always thinking dozens of steps in advance.
They've taken the seemingly simple sand-box, grim adventure game to heights the creators never could have expected. But who are they? The two have never shown their faces, or revealed anything about their identities to the internet... maybe it's because they made a bet. The first one to get the other's picture and name has to stop playing the game. Forever. Just like with the death note in the game. Surrendering the bet is possible at any time... But their lives are so wrapped around it, could either bear to stop playing? Even to meet their rival... and only friend? And how long will it be before the secret is out if they're going to the same college?
