When 19 year old Half fairy Ophelia finds a wounded full fairy she takes him in and nurses him back to health.  The only problem is her human father and half brother who despise fairies and will do anything to keep Ophelia from her true destiny. 
Garrick, the fairy warrior, is a cocky and handsome male who finds his fate in the hands of a young woman.  When he starts to fall for  her he finds himself caught in a political play for power that neither he nor Ophelia  have any ability to change.

This is an orginal story I am writing a novel of. It's about Raven, a boy who loses everything important to him before he graduates high school. He then is thrust into a bizzare scenario where he is a part of a group of half siblings that embark on a journey to they Fairy Kings palace. The King is very old and has no living fairy children to leave his thrown to. He has asked his trusted body guards of his half human children to bring them to him. He will give them a series of tests to see which one will win the crown. Raven has nothing more to lose so why not try to become the crown prince of Fairyland.
