The Only Exception [Stony] (Discontinued On Wattpad, Read A/N)

When I was young, my parents would always fight and yell at each other. I knew they would never mean the things they would say to each other but I knew they always left a scar. One day the fighting just got so bad which ended which left my dad crying and cursing at the wind and my mom swearing that she would never let herself forget. And that was the day I promised that I would never tell anyone I loved them if it does not exist. Maybe I know somewhere deep in my soul that love never lasts.. and we've got to find other ways to make it alone or keep a straight face. During my junior Year of high school, the one person I thought hated me most.. Steve... started to show me kindness and affection. I've always lived keeping a comfortable distance from people.. and up until now, I have sworn to myself that I am content with loneliness because none of it was ever worth the risk. Well, he is the only exception. I know that one day he'll leave me in the morning and I can only hope he'll leave me with some proof that its not a dream. But now I'm on my way to believing that he'll stay.
