I struggled to run faster, faster. I couldn’t let him catch me. Urging my legs to move, my burning lungs heaved. But my weak, pathetic human body was no match for his superior speed and strength. A previously unknown flutter of hope in my chest died silently. The hunter was right in front of me, barring my path to freedom. I dropped to the ground, breathless and exhausted, no longer able to run, and tried not to cower as I stared into the blood-red eyes of the ruthless killer. *** Seventeen year old Daphne Peller is about to be thrown into a world where legends and myths exist. She doesn’t know it yet, but her life is going to get a lot more complicated…and dangerous. One wrong move is all it takes to bring down the fatal apocalypse waiting for her. How can she possibly survive?

There are worse things than death. ___ "What is wrong with you?" I seethed. She had my back against the wall, pinning me down so I couldn't move. She was much stronger than me, even when I used my strength to get out of her embrace. I held her gaze and I knew that she was gone. There wasn't an ounce of goodness left in her body. She laughed at my question. Of course, I knew what was wrong with her. But I have to find a way to get her back. "What is wrong with me? Ha, nothing sweetheart." she told me with a smile on her face. "I'm just having a little fun." "Yeah, and fun for you is killing innocents," I growled. "Oh, I hate to say this to you but they aren't all innocent." I finally broke free of her and I dropped her to the floor. I held her down with both arms while I was on top of her. All she did was give me a smile. An eerie smile that made a shiver run down my spine. "I should kill you for what you've done," I whispered. "I should make you pay." "Oh, but Sebastian, you won't," she said. "You know why? Because at the end of the day I'm still me, and you will never hurt me, will you?" I hated that she was right. I couldn't kill her. My mind told me that it would be the best to do it but my heart told me otherwise. I mentally cursed at myself for letting this happen to her. "Elora, I know you're still in there." I said. She was still on the ground, but she was not resisting which seemed odd. "She died a long time ago," she said finally. "Alongside her love for you." ___ Book Two in the "From Death to Life" Trilogy #13 in Bloodlust

The winter season turns out well for Zoey Smith, a twenty-four-year-old who holds the town's safety in her hands has a dark secret until someone by the name of Alexander Griffin, a rich, sadistic vampire who knows her secret decides to turn her life upside down, these two will now have to live together. Will there be bloodshed or love between these two? Sneak Peek: "I have a proposition for you.", he said as he sat back down and crossed his legs. "And if I don't want to sign it or have anything to do with you? What then?", she snapped back. Zoey was the type to always fight back. She was never the type to take a no for an answer. "Your reputation as a vigilante will be exposed and above all...your father will die at your hands. All because of your stupidity and selfishness of taking up a mask to wear at night yet you don't even think about the consequences" "What is the proposition?", she muttered under her breath gently. "Oh well, you will stay here with me, in this mansion with me." "Why do you want me to stay here?!", she questioned in confusion. "Do you remember the night before? On the alleyway, you killed my cousin." She choked on her tea as she heard this and tried to hide her laughter."Oh....I'm sorry...but on a serious note, he was not a nice person. He kidnapped and murdered children." He sat next to her and started to talk, "You're right, he deserved it", he chuckled."Please consider the proposition." It's my original story. I used his now still chest to push myself up on steady hands, puffing a loose hair out of my face I considered the head, barely attached to the side of the vampire's shoulders. Then I retrieved the short sword at my back, while I swung the sword in a full arc, I expelled a small huff of breath and severed the head of the monster that had stolen Isabelle. The vamp's mass now blocked the front door, so I threw the head out the opening and heard it thump down the stairs. I felt eyes watching me. I scanned my surroundings expecting to witness the mystery vampire from earlier attempt to sneak up on me. Instead, I met the dull brown eyes of a little girl curled up in the corner. "Who are you?" Way too calm for the current situation, her soft voice contrasted in the macabre cabin. There was a good chance she was in shock. "My name is Aisling and I kill the monsters," I said, rising from the squatting position I had assumed to evaluate Isabella's injuries. "How did you know he was a monster?" The sound of raw pain and misplaced admiration in her voice broke my heart. "Oh, honey. They're all monsters." When vengeful Aisling Brooks must pretend to date Master vampire Roderick Keats, he tries his best to rock her views of the supernatural community. That doesn't stop her from trying to kill him though. Immersed in the very world she hates, Aisling must find the person that hired her or forfeit her life and those of her friends. Roderick becomes detached after her assassination attempt, while Aisling is cut off from her friends and help. It seems as if all of Roderick's people are aloof at best and homicidal at worst. As her preconceived ideals crumble beneath her, Aisling finds Roderick isn't the only one being hunted by the mysterious benefactor. While discovering that she might be the worst detective in history Aisling is sure of one thing: part of her will not survive trying to kill Roderick Keats.

How I killed my entire Pack just at the age of thirteen.... Bitter, the feeling seemed to intensify every day I live... running through the forest as my breathing increased heavily, crunching of wood from behind me pushed me harder. Numbness suffused my body as I turned my head. "People like you are the reason I enjoyed killing," he yelled, then laughing half heartily. I could of killed him already, but there was no fun in that. I gripped my hand on my silver knife rolling my body to the right, pressing against a tree. Soon I heard breathing passing by, but as soon as it appeared it had disappeared. Thrusting my knife into the Hunter's chest he coughed up blood and stared at me, gurgling his blood trying to find air. His eyes widened as life left his body. I crouched down near his face and placed a red rose on his chest Never forget * * * What is it," I stated blankly. "Cheese pizza I didn't know what you wanted so I ordered plain for you," he stated. I stared at the box not attempting to eat it. "Keep it I don't want whatever that is," I stated. He sighed and picked it up from the ground. "I just want a healthy luna, our pack needs you whether you realize that or not," he tried to explain. "I never asked for this if you haven't realized," I snapped instantly.
