Note: This is another screen play format story that I wrote when I was younger, and it never got to see that light so I decided to post it. This is a fractured fairy tale of Alice and Wonderland. Alice is left an orphan after her parents die in a horrible car crash. She goes to live with her snarky aunt and vain cousin in a black and white town. She needs to leave her old colorful life behind. Being different and odd she faces her fair share of obstacles but she has a friend to help her a long the way.

Alice Milner was a silly girl with a head full of nonsense... just how she liked it. Hers was a world of the impossible come to life, of dreams made real. Of fears faced, and expectations evaporated. But the world is dark and full of horrors. And when her resilience is tested in the crucible of modern society, she must rely upon a nightmare foe from the fantasies of her youth to help her find a path through the shadows back to the light. She needs help, and she can't afford to turn her nose up at an offer of help, even from her sworn nemesis. *Trigger Warning* This story is intended for mature readers. It contains suggestive elements that deal with physical and sexual abuse. While scenes are not directly described, they are alluded to in the aftermath as characters recover. This story also contains coarse language. Please read at your own discretion. And if you have been targeted by abuse, know that you do not deserve it, you are not alone, it's not your fault, and there are people who can help. Pledge: This story portrays the struggle of young girls who are victims of human trafficking. In gratitude for the opportunity to share this story, I'm pledging 50% of all future earnings from this book to the Canadian Women's Foundation whose Task force seeks an end to the trafficking of women and girls.
