Isabella Swan is not who she says she is. Her real name is Isabella Jackson, daughter of Poseidon, god of the sea.

She never loved Edward, she already had a boyfriend, Leo Valdez, son of Hephaestus. Sure, he wasn't the most attractive guy, but she loved him nonetheless. They'd been going out since he got to camp in December. His happy-go-lucky attitude lifted her spirits, since her twin brother, Percy Jackson, had gone missing three days before she found Leo at the Grand Canyon skywalk.
She's not exactly like her Seaweed Brain of a brother. Sure, her friends called her Kelp Head, but that was because she could be so stupid sometimes. However, she had the mind of an engineer. She was good with math and science, she could recite the whole periodic table, element names, symbols, atomic numbers and masses, without even thinking about it. But most importantly, she was good with machines. If you didn't know about her powers over water and her parentage, you would say she was a child of Athena. She was also born, what she called, a "super-hyper-polyglot", she spoke all 6,909 living languages. She spoke 6,911 if you counted Latin and Ancient Greek, 6,913 if you counted Latin, Ancient Greek, fish, and horse. She's a mechanic too, she likes to build things. It helps with her ADHD, keeping her hands busy. They have many similarities though, her and her brother. The same sea-green eyes, the same black hair and deep tan. They both have simmers bodies. They have the same laid-back attitude, the same unwavering loyalty. They have the same cocky smirk. That all seems to disappear when she uses the Mist to conceal herself.
