She crushes on him as a teen, but he is oblivious and doesn't see her "that way" until she is in her 20s. It is mentioned at one point that Sesshomaru and Rin were like Toga and Izayoi, so I figured she grew up with him protecting her. I've always fallen for older guys and liked the friends-to-lovers tropes, so this will hit both of those. I've tried to include little Easter eggs and nods to Inuyasha and Yashahime. Complete but still likely contains a few errors here and there. Fan fiction disclaimer: I do not own this series. I love Rumiko Takahashi's world and wanted to add to it. I waited until her back was turned, grabbed the characters, and started playing with them-but I know that they still belong to her (and Viz Media). I also do not own the cover picture. After you both began to grow to try and achieve a future desired. You unfortunately faced the worst event in your lifetime. Rengoku had already moved elsewhere and during the couple days he's not been in the neighborhood anymore. The worst had happened. Striving to become a demon slayer, you became the enemy without choice. Miserably living your couple of days as a demon. It wasn't until a Hashira found you eventually. When brought to fight a foe that you were under prepared for, you find a familiar face in them. Stuck between wanting to die without another word or saying something. You let it all out regardless if your superior limited your every move. Now what would an old friend do in such a situation now that you guys are way off from a chance of redeeming any bond? The wheel of fate tries to find balance in between a on-going war. A demon with a demon slayer, nonetheless a Hashira at that; this violates code on both sides that were either written or just common sense. When attempting to work it out, you find each other to have a hard time even making it possible. Making the situation worse the longer you bond after lost time. Will your interactions contribute to Rengoku's life greatly and will be so that in your case? Cudos to: Koyoharu Gotouge and Art that I've found on Google for the chapters. *I won't be going back to this 😭 this story can honestly go whichever way for y'all.*
