It's been five years since the plague struck. Leah knows there are other survivors, but she's avoiding them. She is doing just fine on her own. Surviving after everyone she knew died has made her physically strong and honed her intelligence, but she is emotionally devastated. There is nothing to fear if you don't make yourself emotionally vulnerable. James has spent the last five years helping to build up a colony of survivors. He believes in the small town they have populated and its mission to save humanity from extinction. He and his small team of men find scattered people and bring them in. Over the last two centuries, women have fought for and won more and more rights, gaining equality with men. Society, law, and technology bolsters and enforces these rights, but now they are gone. Women's equality with men is over. There are just too few of them. They aren't lesser but greater, more important, more valuable than men. Men are expendable. Men can stay outside alone if they like, but all women must be brought inside the safety of the Colony and properly taken care of. James has been searching the area Leah lives in. Her time of solitude is up. Leah sparks something in James he's never felt before. He's not letting this one get away, certainly not twice. A dystopian tale of out-of-control capitalism, this story is meant as a warning against free-market capitalism, the ideology that would make this world possible.

People like Caia aren't supposed to exist. Ever since England passed the Firstborn Act, families are only allowed one child, and illegally born Seconds, like Caia, are property of the government. Raised her whole life in the Control Centre and knowing little of the outside world, Caia's only hope for a better future is to excel in the Trials, a mysterious test that all Seconds must take when they turn sixteen. But when Caia meets Roan, a boy from the outside, she learns that the Trials may not be what she thought. Roan wants to topple the CC and set Seconds free, but he needs help. The more she starts to fall for him, and the closer they get to the truth, the more Caia realises that she may have to risk everything to be free. Even her life.

Due to overpopulation the government has to take extreme measures. So extreme that thousands of people die everyday and the government chooses who dies. Kendall is a innocent teenager who has to fight to survive.

In a dystopian world, overpopulation has resulted in a society that is purely focused on the survival of the human race. For the women of Lotus, there are two options: assist in the repopulation of the species that suffers an abnormally high infertility rate or leave in a body bag. Kaira's bleak future takes a turn and she is forced to leave her home to go to Pine, the capital of Lotus. Side note: in the near future, I will be changing a few things within the story.

It all started when they turned ten, the age that automatically put them under the Civils watch. They were all rounded up from their care units, like a herd of cows. One by one, they entered a room. The room where they lost the one thing that mattered to them the most. They woke up hours later on a worn down mattress and had a precious sense taken away from them. Some lost their sight and all lost their hope. Just so they wouldn't try to run. Clover and Jack were just regular citizens in Amara, and were used to being taunted and misused by their cruel leaders. Life without a 'normal' ability made their bulling worse. What if Clover and Jack were to escape past the massive stone walls of Amara? What if they were to get away?

In 2037, in the middle of nowhere, lies a newly built testing lab, owned by the government. The government is unfortunately corrupted, and has led the whole country into disaster. People are starving, and the whole economy is falling apart. Since the government needs a new way to get out of this terrible situation, they are finding new ways to make money. Fortunately for them, science has blessed them with a new discovery- a new blood type. The people with the new blood type are said to be able to be resistant to most high falls, and also are stronger than the average human being. They are now capturing people with the new blood type, blood type AE positive. You just happen to be one of those people with the rare blood and you drive in an attempt to escape the clutches of the Obelus. Unfortunately, your attempt has failed, and you are now trapped in a cell waiting for testing. You are their newest subject, subject number 43.

The world is taken over by giant bugs called Midges and the promise of spring seems too far to be true. (I might not update after I finish putting all the parts up lol because I wrote this a long time ago and I don't really remember the plot but I just wanted to share what I have so far)
