She has been held in at house where she lives a wealthy life but was a prisoner along with her daughter. They took her keys, her whip, and watched her constantly. She planned an escape for them but only her daughter escaped. Luckily Lucy told her where to go. Nashi listened to her mother and found Fairy Tail. Lucy never told Nashi who her father was because she was afraid that her kidnappers wouldn't hold it against Natsu. Nashi runs into her father Natsu and he bring her to Fairy Tail.
