He has an important mission trusted to him.
This sacred mission is to hunt down a special kind of being, seemingly dangerous for all of the beings in the very world.
He was a trained hunter, the best of the best. Surely this would be easy for him. All he had to do was to search for this being and kill her as soon as he sees her.
One day, still on his mission, he noticed a sign of movement and decided to follow it. His curiosity made him found a random girl in the forest, using her magic to provide food for herself.
You are a special kind of being. Able to do any kind of magic possible, even those that the best of the best witches and wizards can't do. You don't have a specific place to call home, so you just wander around aimlessly. It's also risky to stay in one place since there are many of those who hunt you.
One day, it was just a normal day for good old Myra Silvermore, when suddenly she was attacked. Because of that, she also found a hunter in the shadows of the forest. What fate do they have with each other? Is Myra really dangerous? What will happen to them?

Once I was in the forest turning back was never an option, so I put it in my head that I'd keep walking until I found a civilization or a nice paved road that would lead to safety. But that never happened because the forest has a force living through it. Believing that the forest held something strange was the easy part but experiencing it myself was something totally different. It is merely a telling of what you have already read in canon, just from a different perspective. 3. Move to "The Chamber of Secrets" and start with the chapter titled "TOM MARVOLO RIDDLE." All the chapters before that are, once again, events you would already be familiar with. 4. Finish book 2 and move on to book 3. There on after, you can read normally. This isn't compulsory. It is simply, in my opinion, the best way to enjoy the series. Since I understand that some portions of the first two books are not very different from canon and thus, can seen boring.
