Two years after August Lupa was taken into custody by his Aunt and Uncle from his Mothers side, Sherlock and August haven't seen each other. This changes however, as John Watson comes to August to take him back to Baker Street. Once there, August learns from Sherlock that his Mother may be in Rome. As August, Sherlock, John, Augusts cousin Raymond, and a new ally travel to Rome, they are thrawrted by a mysterious cult, which Sherlock believes is lead by an old enemy from a case he and John did before.
