December the Twelfth, 2039. The day everyone knew as "Strain Day". The day everyone knew as the day that the world would never be the same again. The day that Marcus became part of the ruling family of France. The day that a Sixth of the Human race was doomed to death. The day that would forever change the way the world functioned. ----------------------------------------------------------------- Marcus is a normal teenager living out his final days of schooling, when a seemingly random event involving the moon turning red changes those days into some of the most interesting of his life. When superpowers become a reality, Marcus is reaping the rewards from it, a chance to get away from his "family", a chance to reunite with his brother, and authority over the entire country of France in under a week.
