After seventeen summers, it is customary for every young siren to complete the right of passage. It's supposed to be easy, just lure your prey in with an enchanting song and drown them. Lyra's beauty surpasses all others her age and even surpasses her own mother, the deceased princess. However since birth, Lyra was cursed. She was rejected by her brethren for she was born looking more like a human woman than a siren. And if that isnt bad enough, lyra was born without a voice. Now, lyra is expected to venture into the human realm, and return with a death on her hands. Without a voice to enchant, how will Lyra be able to take down a human?
