Werewolves, also known as lycanthropes are legendary shapeshifting humans. As the name suggests, the shape these creatures take on is that of a wolf. The werewolf legend has sprung up independently or spread to virtually every area of the Earth. It is also one of the oldest legends of human monsters in recorded history. Where the legend originated can only be guessed by what humans have taken care to record.
Throughout history there are records of the trials of confessed or accused werewolves. In fact, they were hunted, questioned and executed in much the same way witches are, because often witches were accused of also being werewolves.
These stories is mostly the ones you've heard of the humans turning into wolves. But they are all false... Everything you may think you know about them are not true.
The true stories about the lycanthropes are hidden in every pack alpha's secret lair.. why? Because they don't want anyone to ever know about the real stories.
There is one story every wolf believes in, and it's the one about the White Wolf.

Wolf-Shifter
This story is of a Wolf-Shifter (also called Lycan), or also known as Daire Clement. And yes he can transform into a wolf at will. He is often mistaken for a werewolf, lycans are advanced wolf shapeshifters who have much greater control over their ability to transform and use their wide range of senses and powers. Daire has also mentioned there is more than one kind of "canine-shifter."
