The year is 2000. Kingsley Shacklebolt has resigned from his occupation of Minister of Magic and announced an official public election regarding his replacement for the first time in years.
No one is quite sure how Draco Malfoy made it to the last two candidates, but he did, and he is letting no one get in his way of this position: the perfect solution for the Malfoy name to be perceived as wizarding royalty once again.
