"I can't!" I felt heavy tears pouring down my face. The tall boy didn't seem too surprised. "I can't leave you, I can't forget you! I tried moving on I can't!" I saw the boy's expression change, it softened. Small tears forming into his eyes. "I can't either." I smiled. I stood on my toes and kissed him. The kiss was warm, liked this was the first and last one there will ever be. I now know...I love this boy. Hazel is a 17 year old senior in high school, she was the kind of girl to get heartbroken. She was short too. Most of the time she was reminded that. She was a swimming champion, undefeated volleyball player and well.. a nerd. She just moved schools, why, well her old school blew up (Natalie's fault for a failed science experiment!) so she moved schools. Everyone was kind of nice. She met the Queen B on the first day, Lily. Everything was fine, she wasn't dating, A+s. a scholarship, she was fine. Then HE found her "journal" and a deal was set. Jacob is an 18 year old senior in high school, he was the kind of boy to well break hearts. He was tall for his age and always reminded that. He was the basketball star and player. His group of fangirls everywhere. He had the perfect life, a popular girlfriend, a full paid scholarship for his college, and friends. He had everything he wanted. Then SHE walked in. His world was turned upside down. He loved her from the start.

Four years ago, a 13-year-old blackmailed me into friendship by holding my doughnut captive. We've been close ever since. I soon noticed that I wanted to be more than just friends. I was in love with my best friend. But sadly, he didn't feel the same way. I thought my world was over. I was crushed. But to my utmost yet most delighted surprise, I just happened to fall into the arms of a certain bad boy. Literally. He didn't just save me from what could've been a hell of a concussion that night. He saved my heart too. But hey, let's not get in over our heads now. It wasn't that easy. Not even close. After all, when two opposing worlds clash for the very first time, we can't just expect it to be all rainbows and sunshine. Now, do we?
