Dawn Bates is an average junior at Tempe High School whose life is largely uneventful. That is until she is seated next to a mysterious senior named Ethan Dolan in physics class, who had failed the junior leveled class before. Initially at odds, Dawn feels a compelling and unexplainable attraction towards Ethan. Despite this strong pull, Dawn tries to ignore Ethan at all costs and try to convince her best friend, Nikki, she does not harbor feelings for the new bad boy in town. Trouble isn't hard to smell when someone reeks of it. Romance was not apart of Dawn's plan. And since she had not been particularly attracted to a boy before Ethan avoiding him seemed like the only option. However, after a series of terrifying experiences, Dawn is not sure who to trust. Ethan seems to be everywhere she is and seems to know more about her than she does. Can Dawn trust Ethan? What are Ethan's true intentions? Is Ethan safe?
