Kira thought she had a normal life. That is until her grandmother lent her a cookbook and she summoned a demon. Not just any demon but Amon, one of the sons of Lucifer. Now she discovers that she comes from a long line of witches. To top that off the witches council wants to punish her for summoning Amon and the angels see her as a threat so they send the arch angel Kushiel to assasinate her. She also learns with Amon on earth, there will be more demons appearing, however he's having too much fun with her to want to return and she finds herself falling for him especially because they have a long history that she never knew about.
