Peggy Carter is a beautiful, strong and intelligent woman and men fall under her spell as though bewitched. However, she uses them for her own pleasure with little thought of the trail of destruction that is left in her wake.
Amongst those men are Steve Rogers and James (Bucky) Barnes, best friends from childhood. Both are in love with Peggy, and both will learn that sometimes, love can bite back and rip your heart out.
Many will become entangled in Peggy's web......but who, if any, will survive..........

The character of Peggy Carter is generally portrayed as one who is good, kind and loyal, hence why I decided I wanted to show a completely different side.........and although my version of Peggy isn't necessarily evil, she's what can only be described as a minx and not very good with other people's feelings........the side you wouldn't normally get to see!
I've also taken great fun in playing with the characters of Steve and Bucky and switching them about somewhat.
Oh, and just for your info really, most of the photos that are shown at the title of each chapter are genuinely from Middletown in the 1940's or from towns really close by, so I hope you like them as much as I do!
I really hope you enjoy this story as I'm excited to put pen to paper!
