Skylar Blake has been to hell and back. She is still getting over the loss of her first love.

Now Skylar has moved into a small town somewhere in Georgia. Not only does she have to cope with the loss of Mark but also with being the new girl. Being the new girl means all the attention is on her. Skylar likes to keep to herself, stay on the down-low. With her social anxiety and major depression disoder, it's hard for her to get up each morning.

Then there is Jackson King. A cold-hearted player. Uses girls to his own pleasure and drops them when he is done. He avoids love at all costs. He's a no-strings-attatched kind of guy.
