I wrote this poem myself and it's about a person who is always comparing themselves to everyone else and it basically just makes them feel like shit. They fall into a deep depression that they can't get out of. They end up ending their life and then realizing all they had and how loved and how they might have been different but they were still beautiful. Deep inside, in their roots they were green.
