On a two-man mission to rescue aliens taken captive by the Galra, Keith and Lance stumble upon the planet's most lethal herb: the Auvefae, also known as the Deathrose.
After Keith gets pricked by the auvefae's thorns, they learn that it isn't actually poisonous; the one who touched it falls in love with the first person they see after that.
The first person? Lance.
With six months to fix his imminent death, Keith desperately tries to negotiate with the cure, but it won't completely agree to everything at first.
