Escape - I need to escape. Somewhere far, far away.
    
    Not that anyone would care though - they never really did.
    At school, I'm ignored.
    At home, I'm quiet.
    In public, I'm invisible.
    
    Slowly, I'm fading out of this world.

    Maria Snow is the talk of the school. Constantly spoken about by people who refuse to speak to her, people who shun and humiliate her. It's always been this way - wherever she goes trouble is never far behind. 
    The top of the class. 
    The bottom of the food chain.
    She has only one escape - art and music.
    What happens when her one escape is taken away from her - how will she cope.
    
    Shin Miyuki is the new transfer student from Korea. His dream is to follow in his parents footsteps and become a prosecuter. When his parents heard of this, they were exstatic. They shipped him on the first plane to America. He cannot seem to grasp the 'American ways' as well as others and finds fault in anthing that's seems even remotely 'American'.
