Kincaid Strange is not your average voodoo practitioner...

For starters, she's only twenty-seven. Then there's the fact that she lives in rain-soaked Seattle, which is not exactly Haiti. And she's broke. With raising zombies outlawed throughout the continental USA, Kincaid has to eke out a living running seances for university students with more money than brains who are desperate for guitar lessons with the ghost of a Seattle grunge rocker--who happens to be Kincaid's on-again, off-again roommate.
Then a stray zombie turns up outside her neighbourhood bar: Cameron Wight, an up-and-coming visual artist with no recollection of how he died or who raised him. Not only is it dangerous for Kincaid to be caught with an unauthorized zombie, she soon realizes he's tied to a spate of murders: someone is targeting the zombies and voodoo practitioners in Seattle's infamous Underground City, a paranormal hub. When the police refuse to investigate, the City's oldest and foremost zombie asks Kincaid to help. Raising ghosts and zombies is one thing, but finding a murderer? She's broke, but she's not stupid.
And then she becomes the target... As the saying goes, when it rains it pours, especially in Seattle.

BOOK NUMBER 1 OF 12 IN THE MULTIMAGICAL SERIES BY LILLIAN R.S. ☆☆☆ Emeline Orman was sixteen when she and her parents moved across the country to the coastline of Washington state. A small town known as Melbrew sat comfortably in the middle of thick woods, so tiny and unknown that it doesn't show up on any maps, making it the perfect spot for malicious activity to go unnoticed. On her first day of school, she met some rather weird people, who all shared a strange similar interest. This little group had quite the reputation for their knowledge of the town's not-so-secret dark history... as well as all of the unusual things that have been reported to them. It all started with the rich Humphrey family tragedy back in the 1800s, where for years it has been speculated that the mother killed her husband and children. Being very eager to get to the bottom of all the town's mysteries, one thing leads to another as discovery after discovery begins to pile up, ranging from random holes in the ground, to suspicious buildings in the middle of the woods. Secret doors, tunnels, and books that talk about nonsense seem like they lead nowhere, with no connections! Though perhaps the most mysterious oddity of them all is the otherworldly gateway surrounded by old fences, tied back to the founding family. ☆☆☆ • CW: Strong language, murder, and gore • 34 Total Chapters! • Total Word Count: 142,450 • PLEASE NOTE: This book is part of a series! Having finally escaped the ghost town and all its horrors, Fox, Griffin, Rowan, Lightning, and Blue are ready for the answers they've been looking for. But all they find when they return to the real world is more secrets. Guided by figures from a past they still can't remember, the five struggle to come to terms with their growing abilities and an eerily silent SAM, and soon enough a strange new companion enters their lives and complicates things even further. Cryptic and unpredictable, Maize seems to be the only one willing to help them, and is perhaps their only hope of understanding who and what they are--if they can trust him at all. As secrets of their pasts and SAM's intentions come to light they find themselves more alone and in danger than ever, even among friends. The sixth Point is coming, and the Otherworld will not save them this time.
